Training Program in Hanoi (September 28-30, 2025): Helping trainees weather Typhoon Yagi

From September 28, 2025, to September 30, 2025, in Hanoi, the training program “Breakthrough to Success for Leaders” organized by My Duc Minh Company took place under special conditions, right at the time Typhoon Yagi was strongly affecting the North.

The program brought together entrepreneurs from many provinces and cities across the country and affiliated ecosystems. The program was attended by: Entrepreneurs from Tan Sen Company, the chairman of IP Group Company – a partner of My Duc Minh; entrepreneurial leaders from the Businesswomen’s Association and the Startup Investment Club of Quang Ninh province, officials from the Departments of Science and Technology, and the Department of Finance of Quang Ninh province, entrepreneurs from Gia Lai introduced by the Department of Science & Technology; entrepreneurs who are both business owners and members of the National Startup Advisory Council in Hanoi, Ly Son Island and Ho Chi Minh City

At the same time, the program was supported by business owners from: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Dak Lak, Binh Duong,… who participated as volunteers to support the training activities.

The program was held right when Typhoon Yagi was at its strongest, directly affecting many northern provinces. In particular, the business delegation from Quang Ninh province included many units operating in the field of tourist cruises on Ha Long Bay. Among them was Mr. Pham Thanh Chien – Director of Luna Cruise Company, a unit operating 03 five-star tourist cruises on Ha Long Bay, and also the Chairman of the Quang Ninh Startup Investment Entrepreneurs Club. During the program, due to the storm’s impact, he repeatedly considered leaving the program to handle work matters. However, with the support of the Trainer and the attending entrepreneurs, he decided to stay, fully focus on participating, and directly experience the content: “The Real-life Lesson of Overcoming the Storm” right within the program.

After the program, Mr. Pham Thanh Chien shared: “I have never seen tears so magical. They wash away what is not right and open up love and compassion. A leader needs to learn to truly be a master – not a slave to their work. Setting aside external impacts like Typhoon Yagi to focus on the program was not easy, but I did it, and I received incredibly worthy results.” Notably, after the course, he composed the song:“The One Who Lights Up Souls” as a special gift to the program’s Trainer.

Dr. Ngo Dac Thuan – Chairman of IP Group Company, one of the 100 PhDs invited by the state to return and build the country, a training expert for the Startup Lecturer training program – National Startup Advisory Council, shared in a poem after attending the program:

“Though the roads are flooded by rain

Teacher and students still engrossed for three days
Though the storms are deep and strong
Teacher and students are still determined to cultivate love.”

After the program concluded, through the participants’ evaluation and feedback forms: 100% of participants rated this as a program that all leaders, whether from businesses or state agencies, must attend and expressed a desire to recommend the program to: Local businesses; Other leaders; Family (spouses, parents, children) to participate and spread the value.
